Biking improvement
I waited until the last minute today to blog and I am falling asleep, so this will be quick! I am looking forward to waking up early and going down to watch the Trials--I can't wait. Hopefully it won't be as windy as it was today, and it already felt cooler when we just came back to our hotel a little while ago.
This morning I actually ended up riding the stationary bike for a little more than an hour, and although it felt a little weird at first, I felt pretty good--much more normal than the last time I tried it. I kept it pretty easy and it would have been super boring but I had my book. I wanted to lift but I knew Matt was waiting for me to have a bite to eat and start our day so I called it a day. After all, we are kind of on vacation. A mini-vacation.
It was another really nice day so we sat outside and ate our bagels and then we set off to the Green Line to see friends who live in Newton. (I saw lots of runners carrying their adidas Boston Marathon bags on the way since we picked up the T right near the Expo.) We had a nice afternoon in the 'burbs and then went to my grandparents' tonight for the first Passover seder. My family was up from New York too so it worked out well.
Hopefully I'll have a good report from the Trials tomorrow!
