A bit of progress
Well, despite Matt and I waking up early (actually not a problem for me since it is not that early when you don't have to factor in a workout) and rushing to make it to my 8am doctor's appointment...I didn't get to see the doctor. I think we had a miscommunication--he called on Monday to schedule me but probably either forgot to put me in the book or I forgot to confirm. All in all, it wasn't a big deal because I can go in tomorrow morning. But I was bummed because I wanted to get the stitches out and talk about next steps.
My knee felt pretty good all day and I decided to go to the gym after work to do upper body stuff because I just couldn't take it anymore! It was also very nice out and I saw so many runners on my walk to the gym. I tried out the Upper Body Bike (I've seen it capitalized but I don't know why it would be) and I have to say that it might be more boring than swimming, but at least you can listen to music. It definitely got me sweating, which is what I needed. However, I was too sore after that to do much lifting! It was nice to be back in the gym and hopefully by starting slowly and adding things back I can stay healthy. I'll ask more questions when I see the doctor tomorrow (I hope it works out this time!)
