More weekend fun
It was a beautiful day today, so although I spent my workout time inside on the bike, I did get to spend some time outside when Matt and I walked around looking at some neighborhoods and open houses later in the afternoon. Things went well on the bike--I felt much better in terms of the knee pain when doing hills. I still kept them short, though. I was kind of uncomfortable just given all the days in a row that I've been sitting on my trainer, but I tried to block it out. I watched two episodes of "House" and since I've seen almost all of them since the series premiere, I can say that I think they are getting better as the series continues.
Matt and I lounged around for awhile in the morning and early afternoon reading the paper and doing all those Sunday things before setting out for our aforementioned exploring. We saw a few interesting neighborhoods but not any houses that were too intriguing. Like I said, it was in the 50s and sunny and it seemed like everyone was out to enjoy it. It is supposed to be about 65 tomorrow...yikes.
Matt got on the bike when we got home and I did a little ellipticalling (at the gym). My knee felt good there but still bothers me on stairs--this was obvious during our open house tours. Tonight we watched the second to last episode of our favorite show, "The Wire," and it was awesome. I can't wait to see how the writers end things, but I am so sad to see it go.
