Another busy one
In years past, I made it a point to go to the Nike Indoor Nationals in Landover, MD, not too far from here. But this year we had a house we wanted to look at and I had a few other things I wanted to get done, so I decided to skip it. Unfortunately it is the last year for the event to be held here in the Washington area--it's really too bad.
I managed to get on the bike before 9am this morning which was good considering we stayed up late watching "Saturday Night Live" last night (actually, I fell asleep on the couch). I watched a couple of episodes of "House" and then caught a bit of one of my old-school favorite movies, "Can't Buy Me Love." Matt woke up when I was about done and then he got on the bike for a little workout.
We headed out to look at this house we had seen the outside of yesterday, and it was really nice. We'll see what happens, though, because it seemed like there were a lot of other interested people there as well. By the time we got back it was late afternoon and Matt was preparing for his first fantasy baseball draft of the season. I went to the gym for a bit to elliptical and try to stretch a lot to work this kink out of my neck/shoulder. I must have had the TV at a weird angle when I was biking yesterday. It is very tight and sore. The foam roller helped but you have to be careful in the neck area, so it's hard to get a knot out.
Matt and I are both doing a bit of work/reading tonight to get ready for the week ahead. Although we were psyched to see both the Cornell women and men get bids to the NCAA basketball tournament, both of them have extremely tough first-round opponents. Where's the Ivy love??
