And on the tenth day...

Because I keep such close track of how my body is feeling through my blog and my running log, I knew to expect some improvement in my knee on about the tenth day since I first had the inner knee pain. What that means, I have no idea, but so far the pattern is bearing itself out as I had an easier time walking up the stairs today. I am definitely going to be extremely cautious when I do add some running back in and go in minutes rather than miles. Maybe that's part of the problem here and why I keep having things go wrong (maybe, but there are other things at play as well, like my arthritis).

My bike workout was rushed in the morning. We stayed up way too late watching (disappointing) election returns and I pressed the snooze bar a couple too many times. It was also pouring right around the time we went to bed--and I mean raining harder than it has in ages. It didn't keep me awake, but Matt kept talking about it as I was drifting off. In any case, I did what I could and watched a few "In Treatment" episodes. I thought I would have another Netflix by tonight but it is not due to come until tomorrow.

Not too much else to report on the day; it was fine. We heard at lunch from a couple of our employees who traveled to the global seed vault in the Arctic last week to help promote its opening--that was pretty neat. Then of course I lifted after work. I was tired and hungry and just sort of going through the motions--one of those days.
