Ice avoidance

The weather this morning was "treacherous." There was a thin layer of ice on the roads and the sidewalks (although DC schools remained open) and I decided that I have enough problems without adding another injury from slipping or falling and stayed inside on the bike. Plus, my new episodes of "House" arrived yesterday. I woke up feeling more rested but still wished I could have had an extra hour to sleep. I did not get to bike for too long; as usual, I did what I could and made the most of my time. Everything felt fine and I did a fair number of "hills."

The first part of my day flew by today and then it started dragging. I was feeling guilty about not doing a second workout for a SECOND day this week, but I still chose to go get my manicure instead because I just didn't have the energy for anything else. I have a feeling it is going to be an early night for me.

Happy weekend to all!
