Enjoying my final free day

First of all, last night's Super Bowl was one of the most exciting games I've ever seen...and maybe the only one I've ever fully watched! We New Yorkers were quite pleased, although we are related to many New Englanders who clearly were not. Go Giants!

I got to sleep in a bit this morning since I had one more day off between jobs. I woke up when Matt was getting ready for work and said goodbye since he will be in New York until tomorrow evening. Hopefully he'll get home in time to watch some of the Super Tuesday coverage with me because we've both been talking about it for weeks, it seems. Anyway, once he left I got ready to ride the bike. I watched the last few episodes of Season 3 of "The Office" and now I am fully caught up. Season 4 is ongoing, though, so I'm not sure if I will wait until it comes out on DVD or just read the recaps somewhere on line. So the show definitely kept me occupied on the bike and I was working hard enough to have rubbery legs when I got off.

I spent a few hours cleaning up our apartment, doing errands I had avoided on the weekend, and napping before heading up to Bethesda (where my new office is) to check out the Washington Sports Club branch that just opened. It is pretty sweet except for a little HVAC problem that makes it super-hot on the lower level. I imagine they will fix that soon. I got a locker too so now I'm all set.

Time to do a few things and get ready for tomorrow. Wish me luck!
