Nice to be outside

Finally, I ran today. It was slow, and I was a little creaky, but none of the things that have been bothering me lately bothered me. I wasn't sure how to dress because last night at midnight it was about 65 degrees. It was actually really nice out--in the 40s and sunny. I was actually a little warm in my shorts and long-sleeve shirt. I headed toward the Cathedral and then cut up to Wisconsin Ave. by going through these trails that I haven't been on in quite some time. The trail is steep at points but I was going so slowly that it didn't really faze me. But I definitely was tired when I got back--I first considered biking a bit but decided against it.

Matt had to work today and I had the day off, so it was pretty quiet. I didn't want to venture anywhere there might be last-minute Christmas shoppers, so I stayed close to home. I did have to go to the post office and I was a little worried, but it wasn't too bad. Whole Foods was much, much worse--but they had express lines.

I biked this afternoon since my gym is closed, and now we are getting ready to head to yet another movie. It's Jewish Christmas!

(And for everyone else--Merry Christmas!)
