Warm indoor morning
Even though I was inside on the bike today, I could tell it was still mild outside. I opened the window and having the breeze helped somewhat, although I was still sweating it up. I watched a movie I had missed when it came out a few years ago--"Something New," about a black woman who falls for a white man despite her professed attraction only to black men. I actually need to watch the last few minutes. It was cute and perfect for watching on the bike. My leg felt like it could handle the reintroduction of some hill climbs, so I did do a few of those, but not throughout the whole ride like I was doing a few months ago. I think it puts too much stress on my kneecap.
My day at work went by quickly today. I had a lunch meeting that first seemed like it was going to only last a short time but ended up being 90 minutes, and then another long one in the late afternoon. The gym was less crowded today and I was also less hungry because I had some oatmeal before I left the office. When I was biking, I overheard someone saying that classes for undergrads end next week, so maybe people are starting to hibernate. I know we say it every year, but I can't believe it is already almost December. Time flies when you're waiting for the weather to get cold!
