Ups and downs
I think my legs were a bit tired out from yesterday's long run, because I felt creaky, flat and achy. In addition to feeling crappy, I could barely keep up with Camille. We met in Georgetown but I suggested doing our usual route in reverse, just to mix things up. We realized it was a lot hillier that way, but it definitely felt different! It was definitely chilly when we got started but warmer than yesterday and a lot sunnier. We had to go down three steps at the beginning of the run to get down to the Canal and my pes was really hurting...luckily it did loosen up but I had a bunch of aches and pains that came and went. Ugh. At least the company and conversation were good.
I spent way too much time grocery shopping this afternoon because of long lines and the fact that I had to go to two separate stores to get what I needed. Luckily there were some good gossip magazines at the register to pass the time! When I got home, Matt and I went for a walk with a little jogging thrown in (his idea since he is trying to be more active). Unfortunately I was not a great companion because my knee was bothering me after the morning's run. But I provided good encouragement nonetheless!
