Sunday standard
I had a nightmare last night and woke myself up because I was breathing really heavily. After that I had a little bit of a hard time falling back to sleep and then when my alarm did go off, I felt like I could barely open my eyes. But I was meeting Camille in Georgetown so of course I dragged myself out of bed and it was actually a little chilly in the car so that woke me up. It was not as humid as it was yesterday, but it was quite warm in the sun, especially during the last few miles of our run when we were on the Canal. (We did our standard Sunday route of out on MacArthur and back on the Canal.) Considering my longer-than-I'm-used-to run yesterday, my legs actually felt okay. But I think I am going to bike tomorrow to be safe.
I made up for my lost sleep by taking a nap in the afternoon. Matt was reading outside for a few hours but the temperature was about 80 at that point but I'm just done with being hot. I did some grocery shopping and then we had an early dinner because Matt is going to New York tonight for the majority of the week. In fact, I am getting ready to take him to the airport right now. Here's to another week!
