A few aches and pains

It was really humid this morning (and the rest of the day). I am so sick of it, and this time, I'm not the only one--I heard a few grumblings from my co-workers, too! I had to head out before it was fully light out today, which unfortunately didn't help with the fact that I wasn't fully awake. I did one of my downtown loops but it felt like I hit red lights everywhere I went, even when trying to avoid them. That happens sometimes, usually when I'm in a hurry. I didn't feel as peppy today as yesterday and also felt as if my legs weren't in sync. My pes/knee issue wasn't terrible, but I think I am also trying not to stress that leg when I do things like jump up onto curbs and go up hills. I would try using the heating pad again tonight but I am just too hot.

I lifted at lunch again because I had plans with a friend after work. Actually, I didn't really lift, I actually biked and then just did abs and the bench press. I had a fun time on the bike, I listened to my iPod instead of reading and got much more into it. I kind of wished I was alone so I could sing. My pes/knee always hurts when I first start to bike and then things loosen up.

Tonight I met my friend at the brand-new Bloomingdale's in Chevy Chase. It was small, but definitely nice. We mostly just browsed although I restocked on perfume. I was reminded of how pleasant it is to shop during the middle of the week rather than on the weekend!
