Steamy Saturday

I had a hard time falling asleep last night for some unknown reason, so I did not feel particularly well-rested when I woke up and got ready to ride my trainer. I knew it was nasty outside (hot + humid) so I wasn't too bummed that it was a cross training day. It took me about 15 minutes of biking to really wake up, but once I did I felt like I was getting in a good workout. The mini-tune-up that my bike had on Thursday definitely contributed to a smoother "ride." I was looking for a movie to watch but none of the On Demand offerings were looking good, so I watched another "Big Love" ep and then listened to music when that was done. I did as many hill/climbing intervals as I could stand and my knee felt fine; I'm just a little sore now.

My day went quickly even though I was mostly cleaning up and doing errands. My grocery shopping took forever because there were ridiculous lines. I started to get frustrated, but then I just read gossip magazines and the time passed quickly enough.

Matt and I saw "Live Free or Die Hard" tonight after an early dinner. I haven't seen any of the other movies in the "Die Hard" series but it didn't matter. I picked the last movie and it was Matt's turn. It was pretty entertaining and most of the good guys survived the violence and havoc, so it wasn't hard to watch!
