Staying cool(er) inside

I wanted to elliptical today since I feel like I've been biking a ton, but I had an appointment to go to and it would have been harder to go over to Georgetown first. So back on the bike it was. Nothing exciting has been added to the On Demand menu and I'm all caught up on my HBO shows, so I listened to my iPod while reading the scrolling news headlines. I saw the local weather about 80 times and it looks like it is going to be a pretty hot weekend and hot next week as well, but that's okay since we're headed to the Northwest on Wednesday. Oh, and one more note on the workout--I was able to comfortably do some out-of-the-saddle intervals for the first time in recent memory.

I had a PT appointment in the afternoon and it went well. I tried hard to show off my good form on my squats and step-downs and I was rewarded by moving up to a bigger step and having to do a lot of core work now that my knee is getting stronger. It still bothers me in the inside when I go up and down stairs (or hills) a lot, but I do think my stability is getting at least a little better.

I biked a bit and then did upper body lifting at the gym after work since I had already done my leg stuff at PT. Everything was fine but I was definitely hungry and ready to refuel by the time I left. I have since done that and now I feel like I could fall asleep at any moment!
