Same old hot gym
It is getting harder and harder to wake up as the week goes on...this is not good. Hopefully I can catch up a little on sleep this weekend. Anyway, I did get myself out of bed in time to make my usual bus to go to the gym before work. I hadn't been there for a morning workout in a few weeks, but it was hot as ever in there. It doesn't even feel that much cooler when you come in from outside--that's definitely a sign that it's not cool enough! They need fans on the floor; that would help at least a little.
I ellipticalled pretty hard and I was too dead to do anything more than a very brief bike afterwards. Sometimes I start out too hard and then lose steam and get low blood sugar, which is exactly what happened this morning. My stomach was growling too and my main motivation was to finish my workout so I could shower, get to my office and eat my bagel. I wore my orthotics (and moleskin over the blister) and all was fine. I keep putting my cure-all, Neosporin, on it, in the hopes that that will speed the healing process.
There was a brief period at work where I was falling asleep at my desk, but I had some hot chocolate and the caffeine seemed to perk me up a bit. Otherwise I was pretty alert during the day, and still busy catching up from the last couple of weeks. I biked after work and did my lower body stuff but not arms because something is weird in my elbow/arm and that is a warning side for me to take it easy with the lifting.
I am running out to have dinner with our cousin--she's cooking this time, yay!--so that's all for me today.
