Sweat gets in my eyes
Isn't there a song with a line that sounds something like, "Sweat gets in your eyes"? I thought of that this morning while pondering my burning eyes problem that has been bothering me lately. I don't know if it's my new contacts or what, but clearly with my sweat level it is not hard for some of it to get in my eyes. I tried a visor today but that unfortunately did not stop the dripping. I think I need a sweatband, but I feel like that will be too tight on my head. It will also look silly. Any suggestions from my (tons of) fans out there?
Aside from the sweating, a weird part of my kneecap ached and I was lethargic on my run from the beginning. Not the best one I've had in awhile. I walked a lot last night after the movie (which was good, but really a comedy with very sad undertones) to get home, and it was extremely humid today also. When I was planning my run today, I thought I would do another set of pickups like I did a couple of weeks ago, but once I started running I knew that it wasn't happening today.
Not too much to report from the rest of my day today. I lifted after work, mostly lower body, and I was uncomfortably hot even though it is clearly cooler in the gym than it is outside--I guess it's not cool enough. I always look around and wonder if anyone else is feeling the same way, but no one seems to be visibly suffering. Hmm. It very well could just be me!
