More biking, a little less pain
Nothing too exciting to report, but my pain is getting less intense and more achy, which I think is good. Instead of trying to elliptical today, I stayed on the bike the whole time. I warmed up for about 10 minutes and then I did 10 x 30 seconds on/off and 10 x 90 seconds on/off and another 5 x 30 seconds on/off and then just biked easy for the rest of the time I had before I had to get in the shower. I have no idea if that was an okay workout but I just need to do something to break up the monotony and keep myself working hard.
There was barely any water in the showers at the gym today, so that wasn't too pleasant. At least it wasn't freezing! Although I probably would have welcomed that right after I got off the bike.
Everyone was talking about how hot it was supposed to be today. I think it got up to 85, but without humidity, it really doesn't bother me too much. (I also didn't run in it.) I sat outside at lunch under a tree and was perfectly comfortable. There was also a nice breeze so that helped cool things down.
I lifted tonight and again avoided any lower-body stuff. Once I can go up stairs without two-footing them, I will know I have progressed. I sure hope that's soon as it is really embarassing getting off the bus and walking around at work like that!
