Soggy Sunday run

It was definitely wet out there this morning, but not too cold and not windy at all, like it is out the window at this moment. I can only hope that wind will not be blowing like this tomorrow in Hopkinton (or Ashland or Framingham or Newton...etc.). In any case, I was lucky to have company this morning as Camille and I did our usual route. We didn't see too many runners but the ones we did pass were friendly since we acknowledged our mutal hard-core-ness. My leg felt better today than it did yesterday, and I really couldn't say what made the difference. It was sore/stiff when I got home but I expect as much these days.

The rain continued throughout the day and it was hard to get motivated to leave the house again to do some grocery shopping. I eventually did and it was super crowded, which kind of put me in a bad mood. I go on Sundays a lot and it is always a zoo there; I don't know why I don't learn my lesson. But once I got home/escaped the crowds I felt better, and even rode the trainer for a bit while watching the second half of one of my all-time favorite 80s movies, Uncle Buck.

Tonight we had Sopranos and Entourage night with Matt's cousin and her boyfriend. I made lasagna in honor of Boston and carbo-loading. Good luck to all running tomorrow, although you are in bed by now, especially Mary and Leilani! Hang in there and remember how tough you are!!

Leilani was up here?? I had no idea. I cheered for Toni (who has no idea who i am!) but missed Mary. I hope they all did well! I will have to search the results!
