Cross-training fun

I hadn't ellipticalled as my main workout in a few weeks, so it was sort of refreshing to do that today. It was still pretty chilly on the walk down to the bus, although definitely a lot milder than the weekend. The gym was empty because it is still Easter break for the Georgetown students (why don't we get that, too?) and I got my favorite elliptical. Not much to report; I stretched a lot beforehand and my legs felt fine. I was jammin' to my iPod and didn't even open my book. Bad things happen when I elliptical for more than an hour, so I hopped on the bike for the rest of the time I had at the gym. I read on the bike and didn't even need my music. Overall, a good workout and I was starving when I was done—definitely ready for my (second) breakfast.

Not much else exciting to talk about today; work was fine and I took a nice walk at lunch to a sandwich place I like but is a little far from my office. It was windy but nice in the sun. I lifted tonight and the gym was noticeably more crowded as the students had returned from break. But I managed to do all I need to do and had a good workout.
