Playing it safe
I didn't want to go to the gym today--I would have much rather run my typical Friday loop--but I figured it couldn't hurt to cross train again today and try and nip that shin thing in the bud. It's weird, because it doesn't bother me walking around, so I don't really have a sense of whether it is getting better. Hopefully tomorrow it will feel okay.
Anyway, my workout was fine--I just ellipticalled and worked pretty hard for most of it (as I usually do)! I also did a bit of biking because I wanted to read more comfortably and my lower back was bothering me. I was glad to finish my workout knowing that I didn't have plans to do any more exercising today!
I must admit that I am now watching the Big East semifinal game and wearing a Georgetown t-shirt (that I admittedly got for free). It is so much fun rooting for a team that gets to play on national TV and go to the national championships! This is a far cry from Ivy League bball, where they practically had to pay students to go to the games!
I am also keeping tabs on another championship more dear to my heart--indoor track! Most of the finals are tomorrow, but I am still excited to see what happens in the prelims. Happy weekend to all!
