In for a spin
I have not ridden the spin bike for a full workout in a few weeks, so this morning's workout was a welcome change. I did more of a strength workout, alternating harder (but not super-hard) intervals with easier ones. The harder parts were between 3 and 5 minutes long--not too long, but long enough for a spin novice like me! It was hot in the gym as usual and I was dripping all over the place, so I felt like it was a good workout. It also went by pretty quickly, which is rare!
I got a lot of work done today as it was pretty quiet at work, my intern was out sick, and my boss is at a conference. I was going to wait until after work to lift, but I did it at lunch because I had a meeting at the end of the day and I knew I'd want to go home after that. I'm glad I did that because Matt ended up coming home at about the same time I did--early for us--and we have been starting to plan our summer vacation to the Pacific Northwest. I am really hoping I am even healthier then, as the running seems amazing there!
