First humid day in awhile
It was already in the mid-50s when I woke up and it had been raining all night, so I figured all I needed to run in was a t-shirt and shorts, and boy was I right. It was really humid and felt almost oppressive. Between the weather and the fact that my knee(cap) was aching, it wasn't a very good run. My iPod was also playing the exact songs in the exact order as it did on the last run, but I have it covered with a silicone waterproof thing and it is hard to manipulate the settings. I'd still rather have music I'm a little sick of than no music at all! Since it is Friday, I did my usual Friday loop involving upper Northwest, Rock Creek and Mount Pleasant.
There was a lot of drama at work today, but none of it is really of interest to my blog readers. Suffice it to say my day went by quickly! Good moods abounded because the humidity blew over and it was sunny and warm, very spring-like. After work, I got a manicure and pedicure and then met Matt for dinner at our neighborhood sushi place. It's only a little after 10 but I can barely keep my eyes open.
