Sweating in the gym again

It was another chilly walk down to the bus this morning but at least I had one of my warmer coats on. And the snow is mostly gone so I could walk quickly and not worry too much about slipping. I did the elliptical the whole time and it must have been really hot in there because I was super sweaty, even for me. I started a new book that I read about in my alumni magazine (it is written by a Cornell graduate). She is a neurosurgeon and basically writes about her decision to become a neurosurgeon and the challenges in the field. It's pretty good, actually, although not exactly a jump-off-the-page read.

I am in a rush to get out the door to meet a friend downtown, so I will just add a quick note about my afternoon workout and then be on my way. I lifted and did a lot of lower body stuff at lunchtime and was excited to be able to watch the Georgetown track team doing a workout on the indoor track. They are hard core--I loved it!
