Sweatin' to the oldies
OK, it wasn't the oldies--just my usual folksy, Indigo Girls-dominated iPod playlist. But I was sweating it out in the gym today on the elliptical. The wind had finally stopped so I missed my first truly cold morning of the year. Before I left for the bus, I checked Boston.com for the weather there, remembering that I now think is cold really isn't--and it was 10 degrees. In any case, once I got to the gym the heat was blasting, so it didn't matter. I had a decent elliptical workout; it dragged a bit especially the second half, but I am reading a funny Susan Isaacs book that takes place in some parts at Cornell, so I was occupied.
Nothing much else exciting to report--I lifted after work and had more energy than yesterday. Matt left for a work trip to Miami (just as it is getting cold!) so I will probably be watching some MTV reality show he can't stand tonight. For those of you on the East Coast, stay warm!

Eh, it's not that bad here as long as you bundle up. You'd probably still be running around in your sports bra...
