More of the same
It was great to sleep late--relatively--this morning. I guess I was tired. I was kind of dreading my run because I just haven't been feeling that great, knee-wise. It ended up being pretty much like I expected. I felt okay while I was running, but once I got home I was sore/stiff. And still am. I ran along Conn. Ave. for about a mile and then made my way up to Wisconsin and then Mass., passing by American University. I hadn't done this route in quite some time so that was nice. I don't have a lot more to say because I continue to be bummed about my leg. I have running plans I'm too stubborn to cancel tomorrow, but after that, I am going to consider taking a full week (or maybe 5 days, anyway) of cross training to see if that makes a difference. I really don't want to but it might be the best option.
I had a pretty quiet rest of the day and Matt was at the office for most of it. I rode my trainer in the afternoon while I watched my tape of ER from the other night. Then I met Matt downtown and we joined two other couples for dinner at a Latin-inspired place. It is Restaurant Week, so most places offer a three-course limited menu for $30.07. The food was actually very good, although one of the friends wasn't feeling that great so that couple ended up leaving a little early. Otherwise it was a great time!
