Dragging in the gym

I finally felt a little more rested when I woke up this morning, and I didn't fall asleep on the seven-minute bus ride, so that was a good thing. I brought a new book to start on the elliptical, but when I started reading it, I realized I had already read it. I had a suspicion about it, and it all came back within a chapter. (I think this was one of the books Alison gave me in the infamous "book box" at the beginning of my second year of grad school.) So I had my music (been very into Dixie Chicks since seeing the movie last year), but I was still kind of bored. I did the last 20 minutes or so of the workout on the spin bike instead of the elliptical, I just couldn't bear the thought of being on there any longer. Sometimes that happens to me and there isn't really anything I can do about it.

My leg was still a little stiff today, both on the elliptical and afterwards. I did my leg lifting and a little upper body during lunch today--I was practically the only one there. It kind of feels like no one is around all over campus, actually. Hopefully our office will shut down early tomorrow and Matt and I will be able to head up to New York and get there before it gets too late. We will be there though Monday and I even have the day off Tuesday as well. I am looking forward to a few days off!

Hey, at least you didn't BUY the book and then realize you'd already read it. I actually did that once, but luckily they let me return it.

Have a good time in New York!
