Weather confusion
I have a hard time remembering that it is November when it is 70 degrees outside. Admittedly, I enjoyed the nice weather today, once the humidity dried up. Unfortunately I was inside 90% of the day, so most of the enjoyment was vicarious when I looked out the window and saw medical students basking in the sun. Those were the days, as a carefree student...hah! I am, of course, being sarcastic as I am never and will never be carefree.
So, back to the blog subject. I ellipticalled this morning and I was sweating a lot more than I have recently and felt like I was working harder even though I was doing the same thing I always do. Most likely, I was both hot from the walk to the bus and hot because the heat in the gym was on. My leg did not bother me on the elliptical and the only time I felt it was when it occasionally twinged walking around. Pretty good considering I had a crappy run yesterday.
My back is stil hurting a lot, despite foam rolling last night and trying to stretch. It hurts most to turn to my left, which I do a lot during the day because people always approach my cubicle from that side. But I think it's getting better.
I lifted at lunch and just avoided stuff that might bother my back. I actually do need to work on strengthening my back and this is a good reminder.
My enthusiasm for Grey's Anatomy has waned somewhat after they threw in a main-character-appendicitis storyline a few weeks ago and preyed on my neuroses. But Matt is still away so I suppose I will be a couch potato for the remainder of the night. (Not that I wouldn't watch OR be a couch potato if he were home. It's a good excuse though!)
