Sore legs

I actually like the fact that my legs are sore, but I think it's more from doing squats and lunges yesterday than running. It's probably a combination. I felt like my soreness contributed to my feeling sort of "out of synch" on my run today--kind of like each of my legs was going at a different pace. My kneecap seems to be the only thing bothering me now during runs (knock on wood) and it comes and goes. But without being able to establish a rhythm, the run really dragged. And there were a couple of hills in there that really kicked my butt. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad to even be able to be getting back in shape. But the journey is tough.

I don't have much else to report today; everything is status quo. I lifted after work and the gym was emptier than usual because there was a Georgetown basketball game tonight. Matt's back from Boston and is falling asleep on the couch as I write this, so I think it's time for bed!
