An action-packed day

My day started out fairly relaxing because I got to sleep in a bit, but I feel like I've been going ever since. I met my parents at their fancy gym in the mid-morning and got in a good elliptical workout and a decent lifting workout. It's fun to people watch there because almost everyone walks around with a personal trainer and most people have clearly dressed for the gym--both very foreign concepts for me. My parents are totally not like that so it is always amusing to hang out with them there. They have been dedicated 5-6 time/week gymgoers for almost a year--I am very proud of them!

Matt went over to his grandparents' house and then to his dad's today, so I went home with my parents. We also picked my sister and her boyfriend up from the train station since they came up from the city. We had lunch at my parents' house (my grandmother joined us for a little while too, which was nice) and then took a family trip to the Apple store to see what was wrong with my mom's iPod. The mall was very crazy and the Apple store was especially crowded.

In the evening, all of us met Matt and his dad and his dad's girlfriend for dinner at a great restaurant, new for most of us. It was Portuguese and had some really interesting fish dishes. We had a nice time and then the "kids" (my sister and I and our respective significant others) hung out for another couple of hours at a wing place/biker bar that we like. I was too stuffed from dinner to really enjoy the wings, but it was great to hang out with them nonethelesss.
