Mouse in the house

Matt saw a mouse in the apartment last night. Not that I'm shocked--we had heard from the other tenants that there is a bit of an issue in the townhouse--but I'm still freaked out. We all communicated by email today and hopefully we will be able to find a good pest control company to come and fix this problem for good. But my mom passed down her fear of rodents to me and I will continue to worry about this until we know we're "safe."

Anyway. I left in a rush to get out of the contaminated apartment this morning, but I still only made my usual bus. I ellipticalled and then ran two 8-minute intervals around the indoor track. The elliptical felt fine. The run felt as good as can be expected, but my hip was aching afterwards--a familiar pain that I was experiencing a lot last winter. It's got to be my stride and/or the tight turns of the indoor track, because it's surely not overuse or speed! The back of my knee is also a little tight--nothing like it was, but I always get worried. Hopefully it just needs to remember what it's like to run normally.

I lifted during lunch today so I would be home with plenty of time to clean up a little bit (Matt's mom is due for the weekend) and watch my Thurs. night shows, but the quick dinner place I went to get take out took forever and then Matt's cousin and her boyfriend stopped by. Not that I don't love seeing them! Thus, my tasks were postponed until tomorrow after work. Not a big deal, I must keep reminding myself. Anyway, that's all from me!
