End of a long week

I woke up glad today was Friday, but the day actually went by really quickly and I was so busy I didn't even really have time to enjoy the usual slowness that comes with the end of the week. I ellipticalled today and the inside of my kneecap--which has been feeling bruised, oddly--felt better. I also was able to read for about 30 minutes of my workout, a personal best amount of time. I don't normally hold on to the sides of the elliptical machine or the moving arms--I move my own arms as if I were running--but when I read, I need to steady myself every so often. It must be a visual thing.

I moved into my new workspace and finally had a place to put up my "I (heart) Running" bumper sticker that I picked up last spring at the Boston Marathon Expo. Several people already commented on it :) I guess I could have hung it up somewhere in our bedroom, but fewer people pass through there!

Matt came back from New York this afternoon and we just had our usual Friday night dinner of sushi from our favorite neighborhood joint. Tonight we are chilling out and thinking about our plan of action for the housewarming party we are having tomorrow. Happy weekend!
