Another jam-packed day

This week has flown by. I can't believe tomorrow's Friday already. Today was another day of unpacking, rearranging and lots of errands and tasks. I got to sleep in a little more, though, which was great. I still didn't sleep so well, despite the fact that I was in my own bed again. I think I'm still reeling from all the stress of moving, traveling, etc. When I did finally get up, I went to the gym to elliptical and lift (finally!). I felt really tired when I was working out, for no apparent reason. But lifting felt good, so maybe I was just bored. It was amazing how empty the gym was in the mid-morning. Sometimes I like having people around, just to have something to look at!

When I was done working out and all cleaned up, I took my bike in for a tune up (to the place where I bought it, actually) and to run a couple of errands on foot from there. It was truly a pleasure to be outside as it was sunny, in the 80s and low humidity. For once. When I got back home, Matt and I did a few more tasks and then I drove to the closest Bed, Bath & Beyond, in Arlington. There wasn't too much traffic though as it wasn't quite rush hour, so I got back in time to pick up my bike and ride it on my trainer for a bit. Then we had some takeout Thai food on our balcony, and got ready for our next trip, to a wedding and to visit friends in Minnesota and Wisconsin. There will be a lot of driving involved as the wedding is in northern Wisconsin and we're flying into Minneapolis. Still, I've never been to Wisconsin so I will enjoy seeing a new place. Hopefully the promised "fitness room" at our "resort" will be okay for my needs...I had so been looking forward to running in the wilds of the Midwest, but alas, it is not meant to be. Speaking of the wilds of the Midwest, I'm not sure if I'll be able to update my blog until we get back on Monday. I'll do my best as always but happy weekend in advance!
