Another exciting day of swimming, packing and biking

It's my own personal triathlon: swim, pack, bike! Hah. I wish. But that's pretty much how my days have been going lately. Matt woke up very early to day because he had to be downtown for a breakfast, but I didn't really budge. I slept for a couple more hours and then went to swim at MIT. On the way down to the pool, I was really not looking forward to the workout at all. I've been waking up with headaches that are probably wisdom tooth-related, and my head felt heavy and weird. Once I got in the (cold!) water, though, I felt a little better. There were a few people about my speed in my lane to try to keep up with for a little while. Then everyone was just passing me--great for my ego. I swam and used the kickboard for almost an hour and then I tried a little pool running, but it was a no-go. Those 3 minutes of running yesterday really did me in. But I won't go into my frustration tirade again. I'm getting a massage again tomorrow--this one from a professional, not a student--so maybe that will help.

Matt and I packed up a lot of our kitchen stuff when I got home from swimming for a couple of hours, and then I met my friend Steph in Harvard Square for lunch at our favorite place near where we used to have class at the Ed School in the fall (those were the days...). I did some errands after lunch and then came home to finish--or almost--finish the kitchen. I biked on my trainer for about an hour tonight while watching some of A Civil Action, a movie I have wanted to see again since reading the book it was based on last summer. Matt is out bowling tonight but I hope to get some more bubble-wrapping done while catching up on some mindless MTV shows!
