All graduated but still tired
It was like deja vu this morning, only without all the stress of actually graduating myself! That meant I didn't have to wake up quite as early. I did some biking and made sure Matt was up on time before waking Matt's sister up and getting myself ready to go over to MIT for Matt's graduation. Yesterday I entertained myself on the bike by watching Rent, which I impulsively purchased from Comcast On Demand, and expected to finish it this morning. But it turns out that you can only save your movies for 24 hours, and I think I was at about the 25th hour when I tried to watch it. It is uncomfortable for me to read on my trainer so I was reduced to watching the Tori Spelling quasi-reality show So NoTORIous. All I can say is that it was ridiculous, but at least entertaining in in its craziness.
The MIT graduation was really long. They read every single graduate's name--a total of more than 2,000 names. The MBAs were last and since we are a "W", we waited more than an hour to hear Matt's name called. Still, it was fun to try to be the loudest cheering section. After the graduation, we went to a reception at the business school and eventually made our way back home (with a quick shopping detour in Harvard Square for me!) I biked for some unknown (short) amount of time since I had a little time to kill and then we all went over to my grandparents' for a nice dinner. My eyes are closing but I wanted to post a few pictures of the past days' festivities...Enjoy and happy weekend!

Thanks for sharing the pics. One question-- Do you ever wear your hair down or was it easier with the cap to have it up? Just wondering.
