Total trail run
Today Alison and I decided to drive up to the Fells and do our entire run on trails. My knee felt better before and during the run, but I'm not sure some of the more rigorous trails were so good for it. Hmm. Anyway, Alison knows the Fells better than I do, but even she gets turned around sometimes. We tried to explore and do a new route, but we ended up doing a lot of what we had done last week when we ran in the Fells. It was fun though, so it didn't matter. Except for the fact that it was a little windy, the weather was beautiful today--finally. It was nice to be outside and running when most everyone else was at work!
The rest of my day was pretty low key. I iced my leg as much as I could stand, I worked on my independent study project and did some job searching. Oh, and laundry--can't forget that. In the late afternoon I lifted and then picked up Matt who was studying at the library for his last test, and now we are about to eat dinner. Quite exciting, I know :) But I don't mind!
