Nicest weather in a while

This will be quick as I need to get to bed soon and I have to prepare for a phone interview tomorrow! I felt better on today's run than I did yesterday, although it felt really warm...almost hot, even though it was supposedly only in the 50s in the morning. Alison and I met up and did a big loop kind of in the Fresh Pond area, also getting some of the path around the Pond, mainly for access to the one water fountain that was actually on. We ended up doing probably a little more than 10 miles. Since it was so nice out, everyone (and their dog) was out and about. It was the first spring-like day all week, so even I enjoyed it despite having to wring out my shirt and shorts at the end. It's days like these when I just can't picture how I will get through another summer...and a mid-Atlantic summer, to be more precise. I guess that's the beauty of acclimation.

I biked and lifted later in the afternoon after class while catching up on the latest news about Britney's second (!) pregnancy and Gwyneth's pledge to stop procreating. Reading crap like that may not appeal to everyone, but it sure makes the time in the gym fly by! :) After the gym, I met Mary at her house and she came with me to pick up a package at the UPS Customer Service Center and then we took a walk to Davis Square for dinner. It was a lot of fun. Now I'm off to finish up what I have to do and then hit the sack!
