Good day to be inside
It was very windy and chilly this morning, but it's only gotten worse since, so I'm glad I ran when I did today. My knee was bothering me on the way to meet Alison this morning, but it seemed to get better after I stopped and stretched for a couple of minutes. We ran to the path that runs along the Mystic River, but it's quite traffic-y and very unscenic to get there the way we did. Once we got on the path it was a little calmer. I felt a little tired today, especially when we were going uphill, but not too bad on the whole. I'm trying to remember if anything eventful happened during out run, but nothing is coming to mind. :)
I spent the rest of the morning applying to a job and finishing up some reading. It was raining by the time I left for class and I got totally soaked sitting on the bus with my umbrella dripping on me. I then got soaked again two hours later on the way home. I had a quick phone interview the second I got home and then I considered going to the gym or going for a short run, but it was so nasty out that I opted for a nap on the couch instead. I think it was probably a good choice considering 1) I rarely break out of my routine and 2) my sore knee.
The nap was hours ago but I haven't been too productive since. Such is the story of my life these days...back to my paper!

So much wind; how about sailing! I truly sympathize especially because Rome is not very windy. When there is some wind, it usually isn't very strong. Wonder if populations have migrated because of the wind...
