Rushed run

Matt's sprained ankle was still bothering him this morning when he woke up, so he asked me to drive him to class. I was just about to go meet Alison for a run and he could leave as late as 50 minutes from then, so I figured that was a good way to put a leash on myself. Neither one of us was intending to run too far, anyway. We met "in the middle" and then looped by the Tufts outdoor track and back via Davis Square. I was glad to note that my arch was not quite as sore/tender as it was yesterday (I still felt it a bit though.) We were chatting the whole time so it went by very quickly. I made it home just as Matt was coming down in the elevator to hand me the car keys. Except for the traffic getting down to MIT, it all worked out perfectly. Hopefully he can find someone else to give him a lift home tonight while I'm slaving away at my computer :)

Today was busy, but I enjoy my Monday classes, so it's a good-busy day. In the afternoon, I biked and lifted (not too much or too heavy) and then skipped out on MIT track practice so I could come home and be productive. I am trying to finish a lot of things by early in the day on Wednesday since my family will be here for Passover. I was doing pretty well last night until I couldn't stand it anymore and I had to watch my tape of The West Wing to find out who won the presidential election. I think it was a better choice than finishing a paper--doesn't everyone agree? At least I was happy with the (TV plot line) outcome!
