Better

My groin was a little sore starting out my run today, but thankfully nothing like yesterday. Alison and P ran down to my place and then we ran to Harvard Square (at which point P turned off to go back home) and we continued to Memorial Drive and got almost to Fresh Pond before coming back through North Cambridge. It was a weird weather day--raining when I started, then muggy, then drizzling again at the end of the run. Considering the run wasn't that long, that's a lot of different types of weather! I never felt great today (a couple of aches and pains in my knee, the aforementioned groin soreness) but what happened at the end of yesterday's run totally freaked me out and I was so glad that didn't happen again.

I had a meeting over near school later in the morning, and then my parents took the T from Cambridge (it's been awhile since they've done that) to meet me for lunch. Our school cafeteria is actually pretty decent, so we just ate there. I walked them over to the Isabella Stewart Gardner museum when we were done (which did not get such rave reviews, by the way) and then I went back to school for my class. I don't know if it's because I didn't have my coffee today or what, but during the class I got so sleepy all of a sudden. I just couldn't keep my eyes open and that hasn't happened for awhile. Not a good feeling especially since I want to be well-rested! I'm going to try really hard to get some rest the next few days. We went again to my grandparents' house tonight for the second Passover seder and it was a lot of fun, but I'm exhausted.

Speaking of being tired...it's bedtime for me.

Hey Becky! I am so glad that your groin is feeling better :) I hope you can take a few naps between now and Monday (I can't believe the marathon is in 3 days . . . the butterflies are tumbling in my stomach).

I guess if I had read your blog entry yesterday I would have been much more up to speed for our conversation this morning :-)

Get some good sleep tonight so you don't accidentally fall asleep in the middle of Heartbreak Hill...Which is really just my way of saying I hope you get some good sleep in the next few days, but if you don't, I bet you'll still be fine.
