An even longer day

I'm glad I decided to go to sleep when I did last night (right after ER) because today was a very long day too. I went for a quick run (a shortened version of my usual Friday loop) at about 5:30am and then we drove to Manchester for our flight to DC. We decided to take Southwest since all the other tickets were so ridiculously expensive. Between the drive to Manchester, waiting around for the shuttle to the rental car place in Baltimore, driving to Washington, etc., I felt like the whole process took forever. Luckily Matt had time to drop me downtown at my interview and I made it just on time. But I felt like I needed a nap!

The interview went pretty well--it's always hard to tell--and then I met Matt in Dupont Circle where he and our realtor were looking at some apartments and condos. We saw some interesting things but nothing that blew us away. By the time we got back to Matt's sister's apartment, it was almost 7:30pm. I really wanted a nap then, but we were meeting friends for dinner. It was fun but I can barely keep my eyes open! I'm about to do a quick check of the Penn Relays results and then I'm hitting the sack!
