Blown away
Ugh, my run was so unenjoyable this morning. On the positive side, the soreness in my quads is finally starting to abate. But my legs were pretty dead as they usually are after track, and the wind was horrendous! There were times when I could barely move myself forward. I really was afraid that some road sign or something was going to impale me--it was gusting that much! I did have my iPod, which kept me going mentally, but it was one of those runs where you know you're not out of shape, but you feel like you are. At least I hope I'm not out of shape.
But it's just a run, so I'm over the fact that it wasn't too much fun. In the early afternoon, I did my biking and lifting in time to make a dentist appointment. Now my teeth are clean again, but I got warned about my tendency to brush my teeth too hard which is resulting in receding gums. My sister recently got the same warning and we are convinced that we owe it all to our dad who taught us to brush our teeth too roughtly. But I'll try to be more gentle!
Anyway, not much else to report--off to wrap up a final project.
