So much to do and so little time
Even though I was supposed to be studying today, I had to "watch" the live coverage of NCAAs and that was a really fun distraction. I don't have time to write about what I thought of the races tonight as I have a paper to finish and a quiz to finish studying for, so I hope to remember to write about it tomorrow!
As for running, the back of my knee felt better when I woke up and fine on my run, which was only about an hour. It was sore again after that and especially after sitting all day. I'm a little worried but I hope it's just strained and not anything serious. I want to be able to race the turkey trot on Thursday since it's been so long since I did a short race. I also felt pretty tired on my run, not sure why--probably just one of those days.
Tonight I lifted a bit and then joined Matt at his business school class Thanksgiving dinner. It was okay--I was so hungry that I probably would have eaten anything at that point! After that I went to the MIT XC banquet celebrating the end of the season. I definitely felt a little like an outsider since I ended up joining the coaching staff pretty late in the game, but I'm glad I went.
OK, time to finish up my work and go to bed. Tomorrow's 8am class is going to be UGLY.
