Bad forecast, bad

I am already devoting too much time this week to thinking and worrying about running (and trying not to actually DO too much of it) so I've decided my blog entries are going to be especially brief. I didn't have a great run this morning for no good reason; I just felt blah and tired. I was also constantly thinking how it felt warm and it wasn't nearly as warm as it is now supposed to be in NYC on the weekend. Those thoughts couldn't have helped. I did enjoy running by some kiddies who were being walked to school and dressed in cute little Halloween costumes. I used to like Halloween a lot (now I just go for the candy) until I reached my costume pinnacle by dressing up as Pat from Saturday Night Live in high school. When I didn't win the costume contest, I stopped liking Halloween.

Anyhoo, the rest of my day was spent working on the final (yay!) newsletter for the NYRRF running team. It never seems like it will take too long but it always does. In fact, I must finish it shortly.

I also lifted (lightly) and biked a little bit while reading about Katie Holmes' newfound love of Scientology and her excitement over being pregnant with Tom Cruise's baby. That was a scary enough Halloween experience for me!
