Propect Park deja vu

This morning's run was much like yesterday's, but thankfully I felt much better being another day removed from track. I met T. again at his place and we went to meet B. and do a loop of the Park. It was still humid, but considerably cooler, which I liked. Before I left, I checked the news and saw a small AP article about some "explosions in London." When I got back, the media was fixated on what appeared to be a terror attack. It was very unsettling.

I actually put in nearly a full day of work today at the office. However, I was working on the Foundation's Web site when the server crashed, leaving me wondering if somehow I was responsible. I certainly hope not! But it definitely cut into my productivity. I intended to go over to the main NYRR headquarters to pick up my chip for the Bronx Half Marathon on Sunday, which I am mainly doing as a way to get part of a long run in with other people (and water) around, but I lifted beforehand and the number pickup was closed by the time I was about to head there. Kind of a pain since I'm going to Westchester tomorrow for a dentist appointment and won't have a chance then.

Tonight we had dinner (good sushi!) with a friend of Matt's from high school and her fiance. It was a later night than I had hoped for, but a fun one. My pillow calls!
