Plugging away
It was stunningly clear and sunny out when I woke up today, so I decided to explore a little near the river since my Boston running days are coming to a close (at least for the summer.) It was very crowded on my way out of Cambridge, but once I got to the part of the path along the river that extends to Watertown, it was much quieter. I trusted my instincts and was able to make a nice loop so that I didn't have to go back the same way. I found a quiet road in Watertown (or Arlington, I'm not sure) that connects back to a major road, so that was useful. I'll remember it for the end of the summer when we're back here. My legs were pretty tired today, probably still from the hills, but no other major complaints for now.
I also swam this evening. It was a good stress reliever after sitting working on a paper and then in class for several hours straight in total. The water, however, was frigid--I could barely get in! I don't know why it changes so much, it is a very odd thing. Hmm.
Today was my last day of classes, but I'm not really done because I still have this one paper to go. Matt finished today for good, so I'll do my best not to take my jealously out on him!
