Monday's to-do list

I really think I'm getting Matt's cold, although I don't have any of his symptoms yet. I felt crappy when I was running this morning-- my nose was running, I had headache and was actually a little cold (!) It could have been allergies and the weather, though, because I've felt okay the rest of the day. I would like to be able to do one final track workout tomorrow with my club before heading off to NY, though, so I'm hoping that I don't feel worse tomorrow. We'll see.

I haven't started packing yet, but I did do a lot of cleaning today with my new and improved vaccuum. I watched the tape of Sunday's adidas Track Classic while I was folding laundry and was very impressed by Shayne Culpepper's torrid kick to win the 1,500. I would much rather watch these meets with no commentary. It seems like the ESPN commentators only know Tiffany McWilliams--she is a great runner, but Treniere Clement has beaten her many times this season and they never pronounce her name the same way twice! And they spent an awful lot of time on the shot put (I fast-forwarded.)

I went to the gym to bike a little and lift in the late afternoon. It was pretty quiet as most of the MIT undergrads have gone home for the summer! After that, Matt and I met a friend of his from school and his wife for dinner at an Indian place on our street that we've been meaning to try since last summer. I am not a huge Indian fan (too much cilantro and coriander) but it was really good! Now I'm going to try and finish my ironing while watching mindless MTV shows!
