(Almost) swept away

I seriously thought that I might be blown over the bridge I was running on today right into the Charles River. I shouldn't have gone running by the river in the first place because of the wind, but it didn't feel so bad until I got down there. And that's when it started raining again, too! But other than the wind, I felt pretty good today, so I wasn't too upset that I chose that route. The first part of it goes through a very ugly part of Cambridge, but the rest of it is very scenic.

The rest of my day included the following activities: working on a paper, taking a nap, lifting, grocery shopping and cooking dinner. And checking to make sure that the Cornell men and women swept Heps again! Now I'm back at the computer but I don't have very much confidence that I'll last very long. Sigh.
