At least my knee didn't hurt

Well, that track workout went as well as could be expected for a week when I had tired legs. I actually didn't feel that horrible, only that I didn't have that extra "oomph" at the end of each interval that I usually try to at least pretend to have :) Numbers were down again for the club this week, but I ran with W. who, as I feared, had pretty fresh legs but was a good pace target for me. We did 6x800 in around 3:10 and then 4x200 "all out" which turned out to be about 40 seconds for me. Can't seem to get the legs moving faster than that when I'm in marathon training mode. The workout seemed longer than it sounded on paper--I was really glad to be done and now I am waiting for my pasta to cook and I can't wait to eat it!

I have a blister underneath my little toe that was really bothering me tonight, especially during the 200s. It's such a little thing, but it hurts so much! I'll have to see how to doctor it up tonight.

Oh, I mentioned in my title about my knee because it hurt (just ITB stuff) on my little run this morning. Maybe I didn't stretch well enough. OK, off to eat!
