Not so hot
I ran for about an hour this morning and I just never felt like I got into a rhythm, plus my hip and knee (ITB of course) was bothering me. At one point I saw a woman in front of me who really didn't look like she was going that fast--and she had a huge fleece on--but I couldn't catch her. She probably was going faster than I thought...at least that's what I hope! It was actually a lot windier than I originally thought when I started running, so maybe she was more comfortable in her fleece than I was in my shorts and t-shirt! I could think of more excuses if I had the time, trust me :)
I was home studying--and napping--for most of the afternoon. Later, I drove to MIT to lift (and do a little bit of ellipticalling, but I had to cut that short because I was meeting Matt at an appointed time.) I was so frustrated trying to find a parking spot--I had to drive around for 20 minutes because there was a huge youth swim meet going on. Once I got inside, though, it was cool to be able to watch the meet going on below the gym area, which looks down onto the pool. I wasn't involved in sports when I was a kid, but watching stuff like that makes me excited to get my own kids into that some day. Especially if they are girls.
Matt went back to the library for more studying tonight, so I'm taking advantage of the quiet here! Have a good week, everyone!
