One down...

I'm glad that tomorrow I will be able to really check out the NCAA XC results in depth, but from a preliminary glance, the only thing that I expected on the women's side was Kim Smith's win! I love a meet with upsets. I am wondering if Caroline Bierbaum's 3rd place finish is the highest ever for an Ivy Leaguer--I'll have to check on that. I have a feeling there was a second place sometime, though.

Anyway, I am taking a quick dinner break and then one more study session before tomorrow's test. I had a good run this morning but am bummed that it is so dark again in the mornings! I don't want to give up running on the soft surface at Fresh Pond, but it might be getting too sketchy. It sure was warm for the end of November. It's no secret how I feel about that! I also ellipticalled a bit and lifted to take a break after my test this morning.

I purposely haven't looked at the prescribed workout for tomorrow because I'm trying not to think about it until my test is over. I haven't been eating or sleeping all that well the past few days but I'm hoping that the same woman from last time is there so I can have someone to pace with. We shall see--but it'll be nice to come home and not have (too much) work to do.

Surely you haven't forgotten Kate O'Neill's second place in '02?

Oops. It's the biostatistics taking over the running info in my brain, ahhh!
